Local Florida actors in new feature films

Congratulations to all MPC actors that was given a role in the new films "Get Some" and "Bring It On 4" which was filmed in Orlando in July and August of 2007. Awesome, can't wait to see the fun movies

Model Placement Center Models featured in NY Designers Fashion Show

Indashio, celebrity designer from New York, hosted a fashion show in Tampa during July for his fall line.

Indashio has appeared on the show 8th and Ocean on MTV, and will begin his own reality show on MTV for the winter 2008.

The fashion show feature some of MPC best. Thanks to Carmen W, Laura M, Doug N, Brandon P, Sophie S, and Mohammed. You all did amazing in the show

Smart Water Commercials

Look for MPC Actor Dustin Wagner in three international commercials for Smart Water.

Dustin still continues his acting training with MPC, aiming for bigger and better acting opportunities.

 

Florida's Triple Threat Signed in NY

Sixteen year old actress, dancer, and model Taylor Jacob's was signed with 8th Wonder Agency in NY City on August 16th, 2007 after spending a week with MPC: NY staff. After 6 months of hard work and preparation with MPC: Florida, Taylor had the spark, charisma and talents to succeed in one of the worlds largest and most competitive markets.

         

At only 5’3, she blew them away and accomplished the impossible! Taylor still continues her education in Florida as a sophomore in High School, while finding time to pursue her acting and modeling career in NY. We are so proud of you Taylor! Keep up the great work. We'll see you on the big screen!

Southern Bells Toll in NY City

22 year old Dane McCandeless for Baton Rouge, Louisiana was signed on August 20th with MSA Agency in NYC! Dane visited with MPC: Florida in the spring of 2007, and in just a few months the staff had helped Dane go from zero to 100!

Dane's potential was overlooked in Louisiana, and the only way for her to go to the top of the industry was to start at the top and that was with Model Placement Center. After spending a week with MPC: NY, Dane found herself receiving several offers from some of NY’s best.

         

She worked hard and MPC worked harder to get this superstar in from of the right people. We are excited to see what comes next for Dane. She has the drive, passion, and looks to do it all. Way to go Dane! Look out LA, Dane's heading your way!

Mary Jo Wold makes it big

Watch for mary Wolds new show....VH 1 " Next Child Star". She also landed Justice for kids print and commercial along with Ralph Lauren print.

Eleven-year old Mary Jo Wold amazed her mom when she stepped in front of the camera at the Model Placement Center in Safety Harbor, Florida. Pam Glover, Mary Jo's mom, said that her first thoughts were, "Who is this kid, and where did she come from?" Mary Jo was simply a natural in the modeling and acting realm.

Mary Jo joined forces with the Model Placement Center in October of 2006 and within no time Diane Paulson, MPC's manager and Rob Simkin MPC's Talent Director, recognized something very unique in Mary Jo and knew that she was meant for so much more. Diane immediately connected with her New York contacts and within six months Mary Jo, her mom and Grandma were off to The Big Apple where Mary Jo joined Lucy Liu in an ABC TV pilot titled, "Cashmere Mafia.”

The pilot is aired on June 1st and will be Mary Jo's first big break in the acting business.
